How to get started on etraining

On a Health Services computer, click on the eTc logo on your computer desktop.
In iSITE, select //eTc: eTraining Center// from your My Applications menu.
On a personal computer, open a web browser (such as Internet Explorer, Safari, or Firefox), type //http://www.webinservice.com/ContraCosta// in the address field, and press the Enter key.
  1. On the eTc site, enter your Learner ID: the first letter of your first name and the first 7 letters of your last name. Example: John Darringer is : JDARRING.
  2. Enter your temporary password: HELLO
    Then follow the instructions to set a personal password.
  3. Click the Log In button.
  4. Read the Registered User Agreement, check Agree, and click Send My Response.
  5. Your Personal Page should now be open, and you're ready to get started!

Dear ambulatory care providers,

We have been live with “myccLink,” our online patient portal, for 1 month in the hospital and emergency department of CCRMC and are excited to launch in our Health Centers this Monday, August 4, 2014. As part of our ccLink electronic health record system, this new tool will allow patients to send non-urgent messages to their care teams, request refills, and look at their lab results, hospital discharge summaries, problem list diagnoses and a list of their future appointments.
You may have noted the promotion materials for myccLink in the Health Centers.
Outpatients will either be enrolled by clinic staff during their appointments, or they will get sign-up instructions and activation codes in their after visit summaries.


In the Early Fall a smartphone app will be available. Patients can now view myccLink on a smart phone web browser but the view is not optimized for small screens.

As of July 25 we have given out activation codes to 6085 patients (mostly at hospital and ED discharge) and 540 of these patients have completed their activation of myccLink. In July we had 2.35 care team messages per PCP per month plus 0.55 refill messages per PCP per month. 91% of these messages were responded to within one day. These metrics will continue to be tracked and reported.

For those desiring more information and training about myccLink, you have available an e learning lessons in eTc. This is called: "myccLink Overview 2014" (3 minutes) You can log on to eTc to complete this lesson. If you do not see this lesson, call 370-5680. The e-training module is available to all providers.
The feedback we got from the DFM Superusers was that this was more than adequate.
As we get feedback, we are adding smartphrases to help with standard replies for scenarios & concerns our patients have.

We have a toll free number handled by our HIM staff to help employees and patients with problems and are trialing a period where they can also sign up
folks remotely and mail them the activation code.
